TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

1. THE PROMOTION

 

1.1 These terms and conditions govern the Designer Island competition ("Promotion") operated by Designer Journeys Pty Ltd (ABN 47 615 829 671) of level 2, 65 Dover Street, Cremorne, Victoria, 3122 ("Promoter").

1.2 Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

 

2. ELIGIBILITY

 

2.1 The Promotion is open to travel agents who: 

(a) are registered with Designer Journeys' travel agent platform; 

(b) are residents of Australia or New Zealand; 

(c) hold valid travel agent accreditation; 

(d) are aged 18 years or over; and

(e) have a valid passport with minimum 6 months validity as of May 2026.

2.2 Employees of the Promoter, their immediate family members, and employees of companies involved in the Promotion are ineligible to enter.

3. PROMOTION PERIOD

 

​3.1 The Promotion commences at 12:01 AM AEDT on 26 February 2025 and ends at 11:59 PM AEDT on 30 November 2025 ("Promotion Period").

 

4. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

 

4.1 To qualify for entry, agents must: 

(a) secure a minimum of five (5) valid Designer Journeys bookings during the Promotion Period;

(b) ensure all bookings are fully paid and not cancelled; and

(c) maintain active registration with Designer Journeys throughout the Promotion Period.

 

4.2 A valid booking means: 

(a) fully deposited, private tailored travel booking; 

(b) travel dates confirmed; and 

(c) booking not subsequently cancelled or refunded.

5. WINNER SELECTION

 

5.1 Top Performing Agents Category 

(a) Three (3) winners will be selected based on highest Total Transaction Value (TTV) during the Promotion Period;

(b) TTV will be calculated based on net booking value excluding taxes and fees (c) In the event of a tie, the agent with the higher number of bookings will be selected

 

5.2 Rising Star Category

(a) One (1) winner will be selected from agents registered with Designer Journeys on or after 1 July 2024;

(b) Selection based on highest TTV during the Promotion Period

(c) Must meet minimum booking requirement in Section 4.1

​

5.3 Winners will be announced by 15 December 2025.

 

6. PRIZE

 

6.1 Each winner will receive: 

(a) Four (4) nights' accommodation at The Ungasan Clifftop Resort, Bali (Each winner will have a private room and ensuite in the Villa) and can bring 1 additional person to share their private room and ensuite;

(b) Airport transfers in Bali 

(c) Meals and experiences as specified in the prize package 

 

6.2 Travel dates are 11-15 May 2026 and no alternative dates will be offered.

 

6.3 Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

 

7. PRIZE CONDITIONS

 

7.1 Winners must: 

(a) Hold a valid passport with at least six months' validity beyond May 2026 and ensure all necessary visas for Indonesia are obtained;

(b) Arrange their own flights to Denpasar Airport at the specified time;

(c) Arrange own travel insurance;

(d) Be available to travel on specified dates; and 

(e) Comply with any health requirements for international travel.

 

7.2 The Promoter is not responsible for: 

(a) Winner's inability to travel on specified dates; 

(b) Visa refusal or travel restrictions; 

(c) Flight delays or cancellations; and 

(d) Personal expenses not specified in prize package.

 

8. PUBLICITY

 

8.1 Winners agree to participate in reasonable publicity related to the Promotion.

 

8.2 The Promoter may use winners' names and photographs for marketing purposes.

 

9. LIABILITY

9.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes liability for: 

(a) Personal injury 

(b) Loss or damage to property

(c) Technical issues affecting entry submission 

(d) Events beyond the Promoter's reasonable control

 

10. PRIVACY

 

10.1 Personal information collected will be used in accordance with Designer Journeys' Privacy Policy.

 

11. MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION

 

11.1 The Promoter reserves the right to: 

(a) Modify these terms and conditions;

(b) Disqualify any entrant breaching these terms; 

(c) Cancel, terminate, or suspend the Promotion; and/or 

(d) Substitute prize components. 

 

12. GOVERNING LAW

 

12.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
